Our gracious God provided a brilliant fall morning for the Walk-a-thon. After a brief devotion on Biblical “walking” by Chaplain Ron, 17 participants started at Zion Lutheran church. Our route took us along Spadina Crescent over the 25^th Street Bridge to Saskatchewan Crescent and the home-stretch on the Broadway Bridge back to Zion. Here water and a treat awaited us.

Three others, also in attendance, did not walk. We thank Del Mengering and Doreen Baker, members of the Events Committee for taking and tallying the proceeds which, at this point, amount to $4,135. Blessings and thanks to all who walked, donated, pledged and organized, all for the spiritual welfare of Lutheran patients in Saskatoon hospitals and to the Glory of God.
