Sunday Services at City Hospital

Sunday services have been postponed due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic and the local state of emergency. Please stay tuned for updates.

LuMinHoS organizes weekly ecumenical services at City Hospital. Anyone is welcome to come: patients, their families and friends, hospital staff, and others who wander in. Porters are available to help transport patients who need assistance.

The services begin Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., with singing starting a bit before that. Services are led by the LuMinHoS chaplain or other clergy. The services are not always led by Lutherans. Usually, the service is about half an hour long.

There’s also a Roman Catholic mass each Sunday at 4:00 p.m. LuMinHoS is not involved in that.

Other services

LuMinHoS sometimes organizes special services at City Hospital for Ash Wednesday, Easter, Remembrance Day, and Christmas. Details about those are available closer to the service.
