About the Crosses

Visited Lutheran patients are often given a cross from the visiting chaplain or volunteer. The cross provides comfort and reminds us that Jesus died to save us.

Crosses are hand-made by local volunteers from various materials: wood, needlepoint, crochet cotton, etc.

In the photo below, a patient gives Chaplain Ron one of many crosses she has made for him to give to others in need.
